Dental Visits Designed With Kids in Mind

Going to the dentist can be a very different experience for a young child than it is for an adult. Our team understands how to communicate with children at different ages and takes the time to help them know what to expect during their appointments.

We use simple, age-appropriate explanations and adjust our approach based on each child’s comfort level. Our experience caring for young patients helps us make routine visits and dental treatment feel more manageable while encouraging children to develop good oral health habits.

Sedation is also available when appropriate for children who need additional help completing dental treatment.

Monitoring Growing Smiles

A child’s teeth, jaws and bite continue to change as permanent teeth come in. Regular dental visits give us an opportunity to follow that development and identify crowding, spacing or bite concerns that may benefit from an orthodontic evaluation.

When orthodontic treatment is recommended, we offer traditional braces and Invisalign® clear aligners. Having orthodontics available within the practice allows dental and orthodontic care to be coordinated as your child’s smile develops.

Wisdom Teeth Evaluation

Wisdom teeth typically develop during the teen years, even before they begin to come through the gums. Evaluating them during this stage can help determine their position, whether there is enough room for them and whether removal should be considered.

Dr. Tasos Belagratis specializes in wisdom teeth removal and provides evaluations and treatment for teens and adults.

Help With Dental Emergencies

If you or your child develops severe tooth pain, swelling, a broken tooth or another urgent dental problem, you do not have to wait for regular office hours to ask for help. Our 24-hour emergency line is available at (303) 886-0699.

When you call, our team can determine whether the problem requires immediate attention or can safely wait until the next business day. We also reserve appointments in our schedule for dental emergencies so patients with urgent problems can be seen as quickly as possible.

We Accept Medicaid

We accept Medicaid through Health First Colorado and work with most major dental insurance plans. Our team can answer questions about insurance benefits and help you understand what may be covered. There are no limits for children 21 years old and under.
