Families can take care of both dental and vision needs at the same location. Denver Youth Vision provides comprehensive eye exams and vision care in the same building as our dental office.
If your family needs both dental and eye appointments, our teams can help make scheduling each visit easy and coordinate appointments for the same day when availability allows.
A Kid-Friendly Approach to Dental Care
Children may need a different approach to dental care than adults, particularly when they are young, anxious or visiting the dentist for the first time. Our team is trained to work with children and understands the importance of dental care designed around a child’s age and development as they grow.
We take the time to help children become familiar with the dental environment and adjust our approach based on their comfort level. For children who need additional support during treatment, sedation is also available when appropriate.
Our goal is to help children receive the care they need while building healthy habits and becoming more comfortable with dental visits as they grow.
Dental Care for Every Stage of Life
Children are a big part of our practice, but they are not the only patients we treat. Teenagers and adults can come to us for routine exams and cleanings, fillings, crowns, emergency care and other general dental services.
This allows parents to take care of their own oral health while bringing their children to a dental team the family already knows.
Orthodontic Care
Having dental and orthodontic care in the same practice makes it easier to monitor changes in a child’s teeth and bite as they grow. If we notice crowding, spacing, bite problems or other concerns during regular dental visits, we can recommend an orthodontic evaluation when the time is right.
We provide traditional braces and Invisalign® clear aligners for children, teens and adults.
Wisdom Teeth Care
Wisdom teeth can become impacted, grow at an angle or create problems for the surrounding teeth and gums. We can evaluate wisdom teeth as they develop and determine when removal may be recommended.
Dr. Tasos Belagratis specializes in wisdom teeth removal, allowing teens and adults to have their wisdom teeth evaluated and removed within our practice.
We Accept Medicaid
We accept Medicaid through Health First Colorado and work with most major dental insurance plans. Our team can answer questions about your benefits and help you understand what may be covered. Medicaid dental services include cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, and partial dentures. There are no limits for children 21 years old and under.

How often should my child see the dentist?
Most children benefit from a dental exam and cleaning every six months. Some children may need visits more often based on their cavity risk, gum health, orthodontic treatment or other oral health needs.
At what age should my child first visit the dentist?
Children should generally have their first dental visit by age one or within six months of their first tooth coming in. Starting early allows us to monitor development and helps children become familiar with routine dental visits.
Do you offer Saturday dental appointments in Denver?
Yes. Our Denver office is open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
